Questions and Answers at Cinequest film festival , March 8 2014 after the premiere screening of our feature film East Side Sushi. Writer and Director Anthony Lucero talks with his audience along with the lead actress Diana Torres and Producer Julie Rubio. The line to get into the theater was round the block. The film received a standing ovation. Really thrilled to have worked with this cast and crew. I was also happy with the edit and how it looked as a whole piece. Full of heart, humor and courage. Loved working on it and loved watching it.

Our feature film East Side Sushi showed at the Lucas films in the Presidio to the cast and crew the night before the world premiere at Cinequest Film Festival.
In late November 2013, Tom Rhodes went into the studio with arguably the most talented band in San Francisco. They recorded for four straight days in front of live audiences. What came out of that recording session was “With or Without”, Tom’s latest album (available March 15th). This video was taken on the second day of recording.

Here is a CD cover I designed for talented musician and producer Mark Baum. It was a great honor to work with such a wonderful human being. It was a tight deadline and a lot of work to do. I really enjoyed working with him and hope to again in the future.
The recording of Florecer began in April 2013. They had finished eight tracks when they lost their friend and collaborator Rafael Manriquez in a car accident. They had intended to include several of his songs on this CD, but unfortunately they hadn’t been recorded yet. They dedicate this project to his memory.
This is a trailer I cut together for the 2014 Albany Film Festival Gala night. The trailer shows selections from this years entries. Very excited for the upcoming festival March 1, 2014. I have been helping with the organizing and promotions for the event and plan to volunteer for the entire festival. Pictures will follow soon.
