Lucky Girl transports us into the world of San Francisco based, jazz singer- songwriter, Jacqui Naylor, whose one of a kind style leaves us wanting more. We meet Naylor’s inner circle, filled with friends and musicians she calls “family”, as we travel with the artist and her band on tour to places as far away as Istanbul. Replete with heartfelt original music and the trademark technique she calls “acoustic smashing”, Lucky Girl documents the writing and arranging of songs with gifted musician and husband Art Khu. In their home, the recording studio and on stage, we get to know a woman who shares her heart and soul not only through her music, but through the connections she has forged in a world she cares deeply about.
