Brad Brooks – Live at Coast DVD production

So honored to be asked by Michael Romanowski from Coast recorders to produce the second Live at Coast feature length DVD featuring Brad Brooks and his talented band. Lucky I have a strong and talented team that I brought together to film this live event in the Coast recording studio in San Francisco. Michael is working on the edit and sound for the release. We also filmed some interview footage to add to the live show footage.

East Side Sushi- Art Director for feature film

In 2012 Anthony Lucero asked me to join his team as Art director for his charming feature East Side Sushi. What an honor to work on such a great production with fantastic team. It was my first feature that I art directed so it was an eye opener for me. It is currently in post production. The official East Side Sushi website shows you more details about the project. BlackLight backdrops

Using glow in the dark fluorescent paints I created backdrops to enhance Pongo Lounge, a burning man camp that puts on dance parties and glow in the dark ping pong! The panels reside in the a neighborhood garage party space during the rest of the year so we can enjoy them all year round! This year we plan to expand and push the envelope further. We have a mutant art sound truck that we are also in the process of working on for Burning man 2013!

AFOOP Block Party Flier Design

Each year we put on a huge block party for our community. This is the design I made for 2012. It really encompasses our energy. The party was a great success!

 

Here is another one I made for a previous year that I was happy with. Except being named Jugsy!!!! Hmmmm

Cuvee – Art Director

Cuvee was written and directed by Joe Fontana and produced by Shareef Salaam. The location was a winery in Napa. It was a challenging shoot in many ways as the story takes place in Syria. My role was to be in charge of wardrobe, make up, set and props. I had to create number plates for the cars in one of the scenes and replace some street signage. We shot on the RED and had the very capable Mike Epple as our cherished DP. The team were excellent and so much fun to work with.

Here is a fun shoot I worked on in 2011 with Don Starnes. I was the art director and had to create all the science fair displays in the background. So much fun! It was handy as I used and added my kid’s past science projects to the mix.
